CCHI Foundation Partners

The philanthropic community is a significant partner in supporting the statewide vision and development of California Coverage & Health Initiatives (CCHI). They are responsible partners who share their financial means to identify responsive solutions to our State’s complicated and changing health care system. They remain strong in their core principles and grant making in support of local Children’s/Community Health Initiatives throughout the state.

  • The mission of DHCS
    is to provide Californians with access to affordable, integrated, high-quality health care, including medical, dental, mental health, substance use treatment services and long-term care. Our vision is to preserve and improve the overall health and well-being of all Californians.

  • The California Endowment’s mission is to expand access to affordable, quality health care for underserved individuals and communities, and to promote fundamental improvements in the health status of all Californians.

  • Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Serivces

    The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is the federal agency that provides health coverage to more than 100 million through Medicare, Medicaid, the Children's Health Insurance Program, and the Health Insurance Marketplace. CMS works in partnership with the entire health care community to improve quality, equity and outcomes in the health care system.

  • California Wellness Foundation

    Since 1992, the California Wellness Foundation's
    vision has been for every resident of California to enjoy good health and experience wellness. Their mission is to protect and improve the health and wellness of the people of California by increasing access to health care, quality education, good jobs, healthy environments, and safe neighborhoods.

Partner Organizations/Stakeholders

CCHI staff and members maintain constant contact with stakeholders, including children advocacy organizations, foundations, and state and federal policymakers. CCHI works with these groups to exchange information about new developments, educate decision-makers about the importance of coverage to all children, and to make sure that CHIs are incorporated into local and state plans for service delivery and funding streams.
